See what you've been missing! The flexible lamp on this 9-inch band saw adjusts to illuminate the workpiece for optimum visibility. This two-wheel band saw has the capacity to cut thick material with 3-3/4 inches of clearance under the blade guide and wheel. The two-wheel design requires less workbench space and reduces blade breakage when compared to three-wheel designs. Powered by a 1/3-horsepower ball-bearing induction motor, the blade turns at 3,000 surface feet per minute. The wheels are balanced for smooth, vibration-free operation, and a built-in cleaning brush keeps the blade and tires free of chips. Independently adjustable blade guides and ball bearing blade supports maintain blade alignment. A rack and pinion system allows for safe and easy adjustment of the blade guard and upper guides. Blade changes are simple with the swing open door for easy access and a quick-release tension lever. The table tilts 45 degrees to the right and a miter gage is included for accurate angle cutting. Mounting this saw to a bench or stand is quick and easy with the pre-drilled base holes. A removable lockout key prevents unauthorized use.
