| If you're new to intarsia, there are few better scrollers than Kathy Wise to introduce you to the system. If you can use a scrollsaw, you can make a beautiful intarsia project like the ones pictured below. The intarsia process is like making a detailed puzzle. You cut the "puzzle pieces" with your scroll saw, then you shape the pieces with a sanding device to give them some depth -- a three dimensional appearance -- usually you just round the edges.

| Project is about 5.5" wide finished Ready for a challenge? This is probably the hardest kit of the four we have here, as it has the smallest and most numerous pieces to cut. It is still "do-able" by the stark beginner, however, and as you can see is a beautiful project.
