Octagon Picnic Table with Accent Ring Plan

The plan you receive folds out to a substantial 38" x 25" blueprint and includes: a list of the materials you need, cutting diagrams, professional measured drawings, many photos during construction, and detailed instructions. All lumber for this project was specifically chosen to be common construction grade sizes, so anyone can easily find it at a local "home" store.

Picnic Table Value Pack of Plans

The first table (top) is a sturdy and traditional park style picnic table measuring 72" long and 60" across, made from common lumber. The second table (middle) is a trestle style table with separate benches measuring 60" long and 27" across. The final "picnic table" is a unique type of bench, the back of which swings up and down to create a table top (in the photo, the bench is in the table position) -- the "backrest" swings down to make a bench.

Child's Octagon Picnic Table Plans

Here is a small version of our adult sized octagonal picnic tables which have become popular over the years. Just like the "big kids' version", this little table is designed to seat eight kids -- good luck getting that many to sit there and not get into trouble, though! The construction is sturdy, safe, and worthy of spending a little extra on cedar (as pictured).

Hexagon Picnic Table Plans

An interesting design, this table makes use of easily obtainable 2x4 and 1x8 lumber which also keeps down on the overall weight. The finished table has over 14 square feet of table top space, almost 50" per person of seating space, and measures 96" across at the widest point. The large format, detailed plan has numerous measured drawings and exploded diagrams, plus a full list of materials, cutting list, construction checklist, and instructions.

Octagon Picnic Table Plan No.2

This table is quite large at 85" in total width, while the table top is slightly over 4' wide. The height of the table is 29-1/2". Sturdy, standard, and time-tested construction is used.

Treadle Picnic Table Plan

You can build this simple picnic table so that the benches are connected to the table, or separate. Very easy to make using standard sizes of lumber and standard hardware. Instructions are included, along with a list of materials. Size as built is 5 or 6' long (your choice) for the table and benches, with a 33" table height.
