Traditional Picture Frames are ready-made frames crafted from solid pine, then hand finished with fine-quality stains and softly antiqued to give the look of an expensive, custom-made frame. Each frame has a natural linen liner and matching inset.

A "rabbet", in the framing business, is what we call the cut-out area behind the molding that accommodates the work of art. These frames have a rabbet that is approximately 3/8" deep, sufficient for a single or double-matted work on paper, but not deep enough for stretched canvas.

Blick Country Classic Wood Frames are fine quality frames made from solid pine, expertly stained and hand-rubbed to complement your home decor. They are similar in style to our Traditionally Styled Wood Frames, and are built in the same factory, but have a more rustic finish.

Each frame is wire-brushed before it is finished to bring out a rustic, weathered look. Choose Country Classic Frames to complement landscape and wildlife art, or to set a relaxed mood for the family room or a vacation home.
